Description

Entry for :iconda-risembool-rangers: OC contest.

As you can see, it is my Ouran HSHC OC, Trinity, and one of my personal favorite characters, Ritsu Kasanoda (Casanova? Bossanova?). I always somehow wind up really liking the support characters in anime; they're so appealing! And they have such interesting personalities! Honestly, I do have a favorite host, but I thought to myself, "I want my OC to have a story no one else will have!" So, there you have it.

*An excerpt from the one shot I wrote...*

He was surprised, however, to find not an injured animal but a small girl, head buried in the silk and taffeta that covered her knees. Her head, with it's tightly braided hair frizzy with static, snapped up as he approached. Dry leaves crunched under his dress shoes, and he raised an eyebrow at the sight before him.
The girl stared up at him, puffy pink eyes wide. She looked like a frightened animal, hurt and unable to move away from danger.

Right then! I should post some actual info on my OC, shouldn't I? XD

Name (Full): Trinity Renee Thatcher

Age: 16 (first year student)

Class: 1A

Looks: Long white hair (she usually keeps in two braids), cerulean eyes with pink tinge, about 5'0

Personality: She is an extreamly shy, extremely cautious girl. Because of her upbringing, she has a fear of social interaction and a great inferiority complex. She finds it impossible to hate any person, instead making excuses and explaining things away in her mind, usually in a fashion negative to her self image.
However, once one gets to know her and she becomes more comfortable around them, she lets her true self shine through; she loves food, laughter, books of all shapes and sizes, anime and things that are cozy. She very strongly believes in equality between genders and bewteen sexualities, and is quite open-minded, which is part of why she and Haruhi became fast friends. Her dream is to one day become a novelist, and then own a bookstore.

Hobbies: Collecting books, teacups, and teas ; writing ; enjoying anime and otome games (her guilty pleasure) ; drawing

Likes: Reading (poetry, classics, mystery, romance and anything with magic), watching comedians, playing otome games, drawing (as a hobby)

Dislikes: Parties, large groups, formal dinners, poorly written fiction, mysoginistic people

Gets along well with:
Haruhi (they have a lot of the same ideals and they are neighbors),
Renge (she's fun to fangirl with),
Kasanoda (he's really sweet and gentle; even if people think he looks scary, she thinks he's cute~!),
Mori (she really likes that he's so quiet)
Kaoru (he likes to tease, but is kinder about it and knows when to stop because of her initially timid nature)

Doesn't get along so great with:
Tamaki (she gets easily bothered by his dramatic tendencies and his 'prince' act, though she respects him and knows he is a kind person),
Kyoya (she likes him well enough, but she wishes he could see that he is not so bad off even if he doesn't succeed his family; he can still live a good life doing something he likes doing),
Hunny (she sees him as very self-centered),
Hikaru (he teases her a great deal, which she doesn't appreciate)

Bio: She was was born out of wedlock to a British woman from aristocracy, from the woman's butler. Not wanting an illegitimate offspring, the butler was fired by the family and he fled with his child to France.
Unable to get a normal job with his credentials, she and her father went from manor to manor, her father working as a servant to many different masters. She was raised like a servant, and treated like a servant, which led to her developing an inferiority complex towards those of wealth and blood. She learned to simply stay out of sight, and this was never really well experienced with social situations.
When she became old enough to attend high school, her mother's family found her and gave her an opportunity: if she took her mother's family name until such a time when they could use her to create company ties through marriage, they would put her through an excellent school, pay for her housing and living expenses, and support her father enough for him to get a normal job and stop working as a servant. She immediately accepted, and went to live in Japan, where a good number of elite children gathered and went to school. Of course, she was still not accepted as an actual member of their family, so she was given her choice of small apartments to live in. She happened to choose one such complex where a certain Host Club member resides.... And the rest is her-story!
